ABOUT ME

Ms. Underwood
I am looking forward to an exciting year of learning with your children. A little bit about me: I am a native of Raleigh and graduated from Peace College, as well as Appalachian State University. This is my third year teaching at Douglas Elementary, and I feel so fortunate to be a part of this positive community. Prior to teaching at Douglas, I taught fifth grade in the Union County Public School System in Waxhaw, NC (near Charlotte). My daughter, Anna, is attending UNC-Charlotte Nursing School, and my son, Rob, is serving our country in the U.S. Army in South Korea. I enjoy walking, biking, yoga, reading, and spending time at the beach!
